Habitat for Humanity – Habitat Haverim and House of Abraham

You don’t need any building experience – just the desire to provide a new home to a family in need. 

Hartford-area Habitat for Humanity has embarked on a journey in partnership with the Christian, Jewish and Muslim faith communities in Greater Hartford to build a “House of Abraham.”

House of Abraham provides opportunities both on and off the worksite designed not only to build one single-family home at a time, but also to foster open dialogue and understanding of the Abrahamic faiths.
