Jewish Community Mission 2013 Highlights included:

  • Jerusalem’s Old City’s Jewish Quarter
  • Shabbat walking tour in Old City
  • Visit Yad Vashem, the National Holocaust Memorial
  • Hike in Ein Gedi, float in Dead Sea, ascend Masada
  • A mitzvah activity at Leket Israel
  •  Antiquities of Beit Shean
  • Walking tour in Tel Aviv
  •  Optional City of Petra tour extension

The 2014 Heart2Heart Mission has finished. You will be able to find informtion on the February, 2015, women's only travel here in Fall 2014. 

This unique experience fosters enduring bonds among the women of our Federation movement. The 2014 Mission was based in Tel Aviv. Women philanthropists took day trips all over Israel, including spending one full day and night in Jerusalem.

Lean how to be part of a journey that will feed your soul and engage your mind!

Some of the 2014 H2H Mission highlights included:

  • Dancing the night away to the music of Israeli Pop Star Einat Sarouf
  • Participating in a briefing on the State of Israel Today with MK Dr. Ruth Calderon
  • Enjoying a gourmet meal prepared by multiple generations of Israeli celebrity chefs
  • Sharing lunch with Members of Knesset who are shaping tomorrow's Israel today
  • Learning about the Iron Dome, the air-defense system, and meeting with the young female Israeli soldiers who are protecting Israel
  • Visiting Israeli Settlement, Gush Etzion, in the Judea Mountains
  • Learning from women change agents who are opening doors in small business, the arts, municipalities, food and wine and more!
  • Taking part in a nighttime tour of famous Jerusalem bakeries as they prepare bread and pastries for Shabbat
  • Creating rhythms and music with performers from Mayumana, Israel's famous dance and percussion troupe

You'll forge new friendships with women from across North America and Israel as you explore the Jewish homeland together.
